Stories

A few of my true stories...

When I got a computer, several months ago, I never thought I would meet the woman of my dreams. I am a big fan of bush, so I found a bush chat room on the internet. It was there that I met Mimi, the woman I fell in love with. She was one of the first people I met in the bush chat. We would talk for hours at a time, about anything, and everything. Everytime I went to the chat room she was there. She became my best friend. Here is where the story gets a little wierd... I am in my 20's and she is in her 30's. I never thought we would fall in love, but sure enough, I found myself falling in love with her. I was living in California at the time, and she was in Pennsylvania. We had been talking on the computer for several months. Finaly I decided to give her my phone number, and asked her if she would call me. She agreed, and later on that day I got a phone call from her. I was so nervous on the phone. I had never heard her voice before. We talked on the phone for hours. Pretty soon, we were talking several times a day. On the phone, and on the computer. We couldn't get enough of eachother. We decided to get cybermarried on the computer, we had our good friend Tarandino perform the cyber wedding. She mentioned she had a sister in CA, and was coming to visit her in January. I was so happy, I would finaly get to meet her. We started talking one day about, how hard it would be to leave, once we had met eachother. That's when I realized that I wanted to be with her forever. So...on December 8, 1997, I jumped on a plane to PA. I have been living with mimi, for about four months now. I have never been happier in my entire life. She is the love of my life. I don't know how I could ever live without her... Well, thats my story.

This is an article, I wrote, taken straight from the Ambush Newsletter...
Thanx to Ambush, I was able to get backstage passes for a Bush concert, on June 9, 1997. It was the first time ever, being backstage, and I was sooo exited. during the concert, Gavin got hit in the head with a bottle, and the show was stopped for about 15 min. Everyone was so scared for Gavin. He came back out and they finished the concert, I was so impressed, that they came back out. All of the roadies were telling people that Gavin would not come out and meet people backstage. I was a little dissapointed, but sure enough...Gavin came out, with the rest of the band. I got to meet and talk to all of them. They were all real "down to earth". Not at all like egotistical, rock stars.

I talked to Nigel the most, he was really cool. We talked about guitars, and I got him to personalize an autograqh for me. Gavin was not in a good mood, as you can imagine, so he didn't really talk a lot. Robin was the most talkative, he talked mostly about how he wished he could have caught the guy that threw the bottle at Gavin. Dave was too busy signing stuff for some girls, to talk to me a lot.

They were all so larger than life. I couldn't believe I was even there. I got them all to sign my cd's and concert ticket stub. It was all to unreal. As I was leaving I passed by the're 2 tour busses. I had to try and look through the window. I had the time of my life. Bush Rules!!.

bush fan forever,
